PhD Researcher – Ed Daly
Ed is a PhD research scientist (Oxford Brookes University) specializing in concussion education, managing athlete workload, concussion diagnosis and post-concussion management. Ed’s focus is to actively build research collaborations which focus on concussion and CTE on a national and international level. He is currently developing the Irish Concussion Research Centre (ICRC) based in GMIT.
Ed has collaborations with academic and sports organisations in Ireland, Australia, USA, New Zealand, Japan, Canada, Denmark, UK and China on the development of welfare strategies and safety measures for athletes to reduce concussion injury risk.
