How does concussion happen?

Module Menu

Concussion can happen in many different situations.

Concussion can happen in:

  • A tackle
  • A collision
  • An object hitting the head
  • A fall
  • An impact with a playing surface, eg. a football field

The impact does not have to be direct to the head and can still lead to a concussion. Indirect injuries are much more subtle, and are more difficult to identify.
