Concussion - The Invisible Injury

Sports related concussion is a mild traumatic brain injury caused by biomechanical forces. The impact (a blow or impact to the body or the head) causes the brain to move inside the skull. It can result in a change to how the brain works.

Symptoms after concussion can manifest in an internal manner that is difficult to diagnose, comprehend and explain.
